Veteran juju musician Ebenezer Obey has denied rumours that he passed away after suffering a stroke.
The false report circulated online shortly after he travelled to London.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, the music icon appeared with his sons, singing cheerfully to assure fans that he is in good health.
He explained that he only travelled to London for personal care and urged the public to disregard the fabricated stories and images being spread about him.
Obey described the claims as malicious and said that he is alive and well.
He stressed that he did not suffer a stroke and is focused on his wellbeing while in London.

This is not the first time the juju legend has had to clear the air on such stories, as he faced similar false death reports in 2020 and again earlier this year.
