Al-Nassr to unveil Ronaldo on Tuesday


A Saudi Arabian-based club Al-Nassr FC, will on Tuesday, unveiled its new signee, Cristiano Ronaldo. 

According to the club, the reception ceremony of the five-time Ballon D’or winner will take place on the 3rd of January at Mrsool park by 7 pm. 

The club wrote , “The upcoming event. Reception ceremony of the world’s greatest player.  Tomorrow is Tuesday Al-Nasr fans receive their player Cristiano Ronaldo Cristiano Ronaldo] & 7p.m. & At Al-Nasr Square #Marsul_Park. #HalaRonaldo.

“All eyes on Riyadh as the world’s greatest Cristiano Ronaldo] will be unveiled in Al Nassr colours for the very first time. 

“Mrsool Park. Tomorrow, 3 Jan GZ) 7pm #HalaRonaldo.” 

Recall that NRTC reported that the former Manchester United player was signed last Friday for €200m per year, with commercial deals included.

According to the club, the Portuguese striker’s contract would be valid until June 2025.

More so, Al Nassr in a statement disclosed that signing the 37-year-old was a history in the making. 

“This is a signing that will not only inspire our club to achieve even greater success but inspire our league, our nation and future generations, boys and girls to be the best version of themselves”.

Reacting to his move to Al Nassr, Ronaldo said he was thrilled for a new experience in a different league and a different country, adding that Al Nassr is “very inspiring”

“I’m very excited to join my teammates, and to help the team to achieve more success”, he said.
