On Sunday, July 23, the voraciously anticipated BBNaija Allstars contest kicked off.
The Big Brother Naija Allstars, the eighth edition of the popular Nigerian reality show featured contestants from the previous seasons.
Most notably, housemates from the inaugural Big Brother Naija edition did not appear in this enthralling encounter. Equally, contestants from the last six editions are back on the television screen.

Expectedly, the Big Brother Naija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu returned as the host of the renowned television program.

Here are the 20 housemates who will be featuring in this season’s BBNaija Allstars competition.

- Cee-C (BBNaija Double Wahala, 2018)
Cee-C featured in the 2018 Big Brother Naija Double Wahala edition where she finished as the second runner-up. She has been described as one of the most controversial housemates in the history of the competition.
2. KiddWaya (BBNaija Lockdown, 2020)
Billionaire heir, KiddWaya featured in the 2020 Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition.
He has been described as one of the most enthralling housemates to appear on the program.
3. Doyin (BBNaija Level Up, 2022)
Doyin appeared in the 2022 Big Brother Naija Level Up edition.
4. Frodd (BBNaija Pepper Dem, 2019)
In 2019, Frodd was one of the most popular housemates to feature in that year’s edition. His tumultuous relationship with Esther during his time in the Pepper Dem edition remains his major highlight from that edition.
At the time, Frodd finished as the third runner-up.
5. Uriel (BBNaija Gobe, 2017)
Uriel featured in the rebooted Big Brother Naija Gobe edition in 2017.
It would be recalled that she was the first contestant to emerge as the head of the house at the time.
6. Pere (BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes, 2021)
The General, as Pere is fondly called finished as the second runner-up at the 2021 Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eyes edition in 2021.
7. Princess (BBNaija Double Wahala, 2018)

8. Soma (BBNaija Gobe, 2017)
Soma appeared in the 2017 Big Brother Naija Gobe edition.
9. Angel (BBNaija Shine Ya Eyes, 2021)

She was one of the most popular housemates from that edition.

10. Neo
Neo participated in the 2020 BBNaija Lockdown edition. He was in a relationship with Vee.
11. Alex (BBNaija Double Wahala, 2018)
In 2018, Alex Asogwa was the youngest housemate in Big Brother’s house.
She was described as the life of the party due to her impressive dance moves and infectious energy on the dancefloor.
She finished as a finalist in the 2018 Big Brother Naija Double Wahala edition.
12. Seyi Awolowo (BBNaija Pepper Dem 2019)
Seyi Awolowo was a finalist at the 2019 Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem edition.
The grand son of Nigerian nationalist, Obafemi Awolowo, Seyi will be looking to become the winner of the Big Brother Naija Allstars edition.
13. Ilebaye (BBNaija Level Up, 2022)

The reality star was quickly evicted from that edition.

He was popular for his relationship with Pepper Dem winner, Mercy Eke. Their relationship has since hit rock bottom.

Another Pepper Dem contestant, Venita Akpofure will be featuring in the 2023 Big Brother Naija Allstars contest.
