Dr. Olaide Adelami, formerly the Deputy Clerk of the National Assembly, has officially assumed the role of Ondo State Deputy Governor.
News Round The Clock earlier reported that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa selected Adelami as the deputy governor last Tuesday, submitting his name to the State House of Assembly for screening and approval.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the International Culture and Event Centre in Akure on Thursday, with Chief Judge Justice Olusegun Odusola officiating.
