Nigerian striker Emmanuel Dennis has officially left Nottingham Forest following a mutual agreement to end his contract, the Premier League club announced on Sunday.
“Nottingham Forest can confirm that Emmanuel Dennis has left the Club following the mutual termination of his contract. We wish Emmanuel well for the future,” the club stated in a message published on its website.
Dennis, 27, joined Forest from Watford in 2022 after the club secured promotion to the Premier League.
In his debut season, he made 19 appearances, scoring twice and providing three assists, but struggled to secure a permanent place in the starting lineup.

Much of his spell at the City Ground was marked by loan moves. In the 2023–24 campaign, Dennis featured for İstanbul Başakşehir in Turkey before returning to Watford in the Championship, where he netted four times in 17 league matches.
Last season, he was loaned to Blackburn Rovers, playing six games and recording a single assist.
The forward’s release comes after limited opportunities at Forest and successive temporary stints away from the club. His exit brings an end to his three-year association with the team.
With his contract now terminated, Dennis is available as a free agent and will be looking to secure his next move.
