Funke Akindele loses PU as Jandor and Sanwo-Olu wins


The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) deputy gubernatorial candidate, Funke Akindele has lost in her polling unit to the opposition party.

Akindele’s polling unit is 019, Ita Aro Square, Àga/Ijimu ward in Ikorodu, Lagos state.

She scooped a total of 19 votes and lost to the incumbent, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Sanwo Olu polled a total of 77 votes at Akindele PU. 

Meanwhile, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of APC and Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran aka Jandor both won their polling units. 

Sanwo-Olu polled 121 votes at his PU to defeat Adediran and Rhodes-Vivour which secured only one and two votes. 

However, Adediran at his PU polled 79 votes to defeat Sanwo-Olu who secured 66 votes as well as Rhodes-Vivour who got just one vote.
