“I lost myself following demise of mum- Wizkid

Nigerian recording artiste, Ayodeji Balogun who is better known as Wizkid has disclosed how the demise of his mother has affected his life.

The singer-songwriter lost his mother, Jane Dolapo in 2023. Following her demise, Wizkid stated that his forthcoming studio album, Morayo would be in honour of her.

On his verse, Wizkid takes listeners on a melancholic ride as he shares how his mother’s death has transformed him.

The singer disclosed that he “lost” himself after his mum died but found his purpose.
