Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has cut short his 2025 annual leave in order to attend the coronation of the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, taking place today (Friday).

In his letter to the legislature, Makinde explained that the significance of the event prompted him to resume office earlier than planned.

He had previously notified the House that his annual leave would run from August 29 to September 29, 2025.
