Pray-A-Thon: Nigerian comedian, Woli Arole prepares for 5000 hours of prayer


According to Woli Arole, Pray-A-Thon will take place for 5000 hours (approximately 208 days).

The popular content creator is looking to join the elongating lists of Nigerian who are shattering and garnering records across various fields.

Nigerian comedian and social media content creator, Woli Arole is looking to set the longest time to say a word of prayer. He has dubbed the contest, Pray-A-Thon.

Taking to Instagram today, Monday, June 12, the comedian mentioned that he intends to pray for the longest praying hours—5000 hours (about 208 days).

Arole in his post mentioned that it is possible to attain the spiritual act.

In May 2023, Hilda Baci, a chef became a sensation when she broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time. Although, as at the time of this publication, the record is yet to be verified. The Akwa-Ibom chef achieved her objective by a 100-hour record time.

Hilda Baci beat Indian chef, Lata Tondon, who had completed the task in 87 hours, 45 minutes, and 00 secs in 2019.

Since Baci’s emergence, several Nigerian chefs have made attempt to break her record.
