French Ligue 1 outfit OGC Nice has confirmed Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi has suffered an injury, NRTC reports.
This is also a blow to the Nigerian national team who are preparing for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The ex-Lorient striker has been a regular invitee in the Super Eagles setup since his maiden invitation to the team. He is also one of the strikers believed to make Nigeria’s final AFCON squad due to his form this season.

Moffi has scored four goals and assisted two others in 15 Ligue 1 matches his season. The striker was absent when Nice faced Le Havre on Saturday.
He last featured for Nice in a Ligue 1 game against Reims on Sunday, 10th December. He played the entire 90 minutes, helping his team secure a 2-1 victory.
A statement released by Nice reads: “Affected in the ischios, Terem Moffi does not appear on the match sheet, just like Teddy Boulhendi and Daouda TraorĆ©.”
