Tinubu mourns Ogbonnaya Onu

President Bola Tinubu expresses his heartfelt condolences to the Onu family following the demise of Chief Ogbonnaya Onu.

In a statement by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, it was revealed that Chief Onu passed away on Thursday at the age of 72.

Tinubu pays tribute to a shining star in Nigeria’s political arena.

Mr. Onu served as the inaugural civilian governor of Abia State, a former minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation, a key architect in the establishment of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and an instrumental figure in the party’s victory in the 2015 elections.
