Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss has shared how his wife, Marie Bliss, went through a troubling health condition that doctors could not explain.
He spoke about the incident during a church programme in Abuja, where he recounted how the illness started while they were in the United Kingdom.
According to him, his wife suddenly began to feel severe pain on one side of her body, including her back, and soon developed breathing difficulties.
The situation became serious, leading to her being rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Despite undergoing several tests, doctors were unable to find the cause of the illness, which left him worried about her condition.
He explained that he later returned to Nigeria briefly for a programme but remained deeply concerned about his wife’s health. During this period, he said he felt led to take action spiritually.

After returning abroad, he said he began to pray intensely with his wife and encouraged her with words of faith while she was still receiving care in the hospital.
He added that not long after the prayers, her condition improved, and she was discharged from the hospital.

The singer shared the experience as part of his testimony, describing it as a moment that strengthened his belief in divine intervention.
“Me and my wife were in the UK, and all of a sudden we don’t know when the devil came. My wife became ill with one side of her body paining her, the back is also paining her, and before you know it, she could not breathe very well. It became serious that we had to take her to the hospital. And doctors said they don’t know the cause.
“They were doing all sorts of tests and they did not know what was going on and I started crying. I had to quickly rush down to Nigeria for a program. On the flight back to London, the spirit of God told me what are you wanting for? Are you not going to put an end to this nonsense, to this Harassment. Who are you wanting for?
“So when I got to the hospital I started praying with my wife, and pumping the words of God into her heart. While on my way home, she called me that she had been discharged,” he said.
