Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has appointed Benibo Anabraba as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
The appointment was confirmed on Monday in a statement signed by Kuru Sirawoo, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Communications.
According to the statement, the new SSG will be formally sworn into office by Fubara later today.

The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for 4:00 PM at the State Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt.
Guests invited to the ceremony have been advised to be seated by 3:30 PM.
The appointment of Benibo Anabraba is a key step in the reconstitution of the state’s top administrative structure.
