Ikorodu City will contest a fourth consecutive Lagos FA Cup final after squeezing past Box 2 Box FC 5-3 on penalties in Sunday’s semi-final at the Inspire Sports Arena in Oshodi.
The Oga Boys, champions in 2023 and 2024 and runners‑up in 2025, have now reached every final since 2023. They will face surprise package G12 on a date yet to be fixed.
Goalkeeper Derrick Julu became the hero in the shootout, converting his own penalty and making crucial saves to send Ikorodu City through.
G12 stand in their way after dumping out defending champions Inter Lagos and stunning Vinod FA in the semi-finals. Win or lose, both finalists have already booked their spots in the national President Federation Cup.
