“No Jesus, no Allah, no prayer is saving us” – Omah Lay on Nigeria’s crisis

Amid Nigeria’s growing insecurity and economic challenges, singer-songwriter Omah Lay has expressed frustration over the country’s situation, insisting that neither God nor prayers alone can bring about change.

Writing on his X account on Thursday, he stated: “No Jesus, no Allah, no prayer is saving us. Nothing changes until we wake TF up.”

Omah Lay’s comments come as both Christian and Islamic leaders have been urging Nigerians to pray for peace and stability in the country. The singer emphasized that meaningful progress would only come if citizens take proactive steps themselves.
