Nigerian filmmaker Kunle Afolayan has revealed that he is currently seeking a divorce as part of his plan to have multiple wives.
The movie producer shared this during a watch party for his latest film, where he also spoke about his views on marriage, family, and the influence of his upbringing.
Afolayan said the divorce case is already in court, and he is prepared to face all the consequences that come with it.
He explained that this step is necessary to live the kind of marital life he believes in.
The filmmaker traced his perspective on family to his own childhood. He recalled that his late father practiced polygamy, having ten wives and 25 children.

He also spoke to men about thinking beyond having a single partner, noting the importance of building a lasting family and continuity.
He said: “I am in and out of court seeking a divorce. I don’t mind the toll. So I can marry many wives now.
“Without my father, there wouldn’t be a KAP Village or even Kunle Afolayan. I am the seventh child of my father because he had ten wives
