Borussia Dortmund star Karim Adeyemi has stated that the African dish, ‘fufu’, is the reason for his speed.
The Nigerian-German disclosed this in a post-game interview with CBSSportGolazo shared on social media on Wednesday.

When asked by the interviewer about the food he eats that made him so fast, the 21-year-old said: “I eat a lot of African food, but I have good genetics from my father…”
Adeyemi was further asked the specific type of food he eats that aids his pace. In response, the youngster said: “it’s called fufu, and it’s a Nigerian food which is very good.”
Adeyemi scored the only goal as BVB beat Chelsea 1-0 in the Champions League last-16 first leg tie held at the Signal Iduna Park on Wednesday night.
