Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan has secured silver in the women’s 100m hurdles at the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, finishing behind Switzerland’s Ditaji Kambundji in a closely contested final.
Amusan clocked 12.29 seconds on Monday, September 15, as Kambundji stormed to gold in a Swiss national record of 12.24. American Grace Stark followed for bronze with 12.34.
The Nigerian advanced smoothly through the heats and semi-final, where she posted 12.36, before delivering another strong run in the final. Despite her effort, she fell short of repeating her 2022 triumph.
