    President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on achieving the historic milestone of becoming India’s longest-serving elected Prime Minister.

    Highlighting the deep diplomatic and personal ties between their administrations, the President described Modi as more than just a partner to the nation, characterizing him as a dependable personal friend and ally.

    He expressed his profound admiration for the Prime Minister’s wisdom, political courage, and steady focus on driving progress and prosperity for the Republic of India.

    The President also pointed to Modi’s unique position in Nigerian national history as a distinguished recipient of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON), Nigeria’s second-highest national honor.

    He credited the Prime Minister’s foreign policy initiatives with strengthening the bilateral bonds, mutual cooperation, and long-standing friendship shared between Nigeria and India.
