Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has called for greater collaboration among the three arms of government to fast-track the state’s development under his administration.
The governor made this appeal during a courtesy visit by Judges of the Edo State Judiciary, led by the Chief Judge, Justice Daniel Okungbowa, at the Government House in Benin City.
Addressing the gathering, Governor Okpebholo commended the Legislature for its cooperation, particularly in the passage of the Appropriation Bill and other legislative requests aimed at improving the lives of the people.
He urged the Judiciary to follow suit by ensuring justice is efficiently delivered to foster growth and development in the state.
He emphasised the importance of collaboration among the Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary, noting that such synergy is vital for achieving his administration’s developmental goals.

Governor Okpebholo further pledged to enhance the state’s education and judicial systems, promising that his administration would support the Judiciary to ensure its effectiveness.
Speaking, Justice Okungbowa reaffirmed the Judiciary’s commitment to delivering justice and assured the governor of their readiness to collaborate with the Executive and Legislature to ensure good governance.
“We are here to familiarize ourselves with the Executive. I assure you that the Judiciary will work with the other arms of government to drive the development of the state and deliver good governance to the people,” Justice Okungbowa said.
