President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will on Friday depart Abuja for Katsina State on a two-day official visit, during which he will engage in high-level discussions, commission key infrastructure projects, and attend a private family event.
According to a statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, the visit is part of President Tinubu’s commitment to assessing and improving security conditions across the country.
“During the visit, the President will meet with key stakeholders to assess the security situation in the state,” Onanuga stated.

In addition to the security talks, the President is expected to commission the Katsina Agricultural Mechanized Centre as well as a 24-kilometre dual carriageway executed by the state government under Governor Dikko Umar Radda.
President Tinubu will also honour a personal invitation to attend the wedding ceremony of the governor’s daughter before returning to Abuja.
