BBNaija Reunion: ‘We never had a one-night stand’ – Joanna rebuts Jason Jae’s claim

Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate Joanna has dismissed claims by fellow ex-housemate Jason Jae that they had a “one-night stand” during their time in the reality show.

The controversy stems from an incident that occurred on the night before Joanna’s eviction. While the pair shared an intimate moment, viewers were left uncertain about what happened after the show’s cameras switched away from the scene.

Following the show, Jason Jae described the encounter as a “one-night stand” during an interview, a claim Joanna has now strongly denied.

Speaking during the second episode of the reunion programme aired on Tuesday night, Joanna insisted that nothing intimate took place between them and expressed disappointment over Jason’s comments.

“The very first interview Jason Jae had, he claimed that the incident was a ‘one-night thing’. I was shocked like, ‘Are you a baby?’

“I was sleeping when he came to my bed. I was very emotional because it was the night Thelma got evicted. I woke up to see him in my bed. He was hard as rock. I noticed it, and I tried to cover him up. Only for him to go out and say we had a one-night stand,” Joanna lamented.

In response, Jason apologised for creating the impression that they had a one-night stand. However, he maintained that he never had romantic feelings for Joanna.

He also rejected Joanna’s allegation that he pursued her after being turned down by Dede and viewed her as a rebound option, insisting that he was never romantically interested in her.
