Aiyedatiwa gifts vehicles to permanent secretaries

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, presented new vehicles to 14 Permanent Secretaries in the state’s public service yesterday.

The ceremony, held at the governor’s office in Alagbaka, Akure, was described by the governor as a “symbolic” gesture intended to enhance productivity and efficiency within the civil service.

Aiyedatiwa explained that the new vehicles were a form of support for the state’s public service leaders.

He noted that the beneficiaries included four recently retired Permanent Secretaries who were still entitled to the vehicles, which were a recognition of their service.

The governor stated that the new cars would enable them to “do their job with ease” and “be more efficient.”

The Head of Service, Bayo Philip, expressed gratitude to the governor, saying the gesture demonstrated his dedication to supporting civil servants and ensuring the smooth operation of the government.

Foluke Tunde-Daramola, the Permanent Secretary of the Ondo State Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, delivered the vote of thanks on behalf of the beneficiaries.

She appreciated the gesture, linking it to the governor’s “OUR EASE” agenda and pledging the permanent secretaries’ continued loyalty and commitment to fulfilling their mandates in their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
