Chelsea have sealed a loan agreement with Manchester United for England winger Jadon Sancho until the end of the season.
The contract includes an obligation for Chelsea to sign Sancho for between Ā£20-25m next summer.
The 24-year-old was signed by United from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth Ā£73m in July 2021. However, the player has had a difficult time at United.

In three full seasons with the club, he made 83 appearances but significantly fell out with manager Erik ten Hag. This led to him being forced to train away from the first team at Carrington.
He then re-joined Dortmund in January albeit on loan. The player returned to United during the summer but remains overlooked by Ten Hag. The only time he has featured for United this campaign was during the community shield. He did not make the club’s squad for the two Premier League games played so far this term.
Sancho wreaked havoc on defences while in Germany
The winger contributed directly to 120 goals (53 goals, 67 assists) in 158 games throughout his time at BVB.
Sancho last featured for England in 2021 and has accrued a total of 23 appearances for the Three Lions. He was not listed for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and also missed out on the Euro 2024 tournament.
Indeed, Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho and Ivory Coast international Amad Diallo are two players Ten Hag has decided to work with, ahead of Sancho. Marcus Rashford and Antony are also options available for the wing positions.
