Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has lauded the outgoing president, Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the handing over of the mantle of leadership to the President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
While wishing the outgoing president well in his future endeavors, he appreciated him for finding him worthy of national honour, Commander of the Order of Niger (CON).
Sanwo-Olu wrote on his Facebook page: “It was indeed an honor, as I was conferred with the title of Commander of the order of Niger (CON).

“A big thank you to the President, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, for deeming it fit to bestow upon me this National honour.
“I wish you well as you formally handover the mantle of leadership to the President- elect, today Monday, 29th.
“To the good people of Lagos, I dedicate this honour to you, for your support and acceptance. You all have given me the opportunity to serve you again. I promise to continue to serve diligently and conscientiously.”
