How I married Mo Bimpe – Lateef Adedimeji

Popular Nollywood actor Lateef Adedimeji has opened up on how his friendship with his wife, Adebimpe Oyebade, later turned into marriage despite earlier claims that they could never become a couple.

The actor reacted after a social media user reposted an old video where Mo Bimpe had dismissed rumours linking her romantically with Lateef.

In the old clip, the actress said she only saw him as a brother and could never marry him.

After the video resurfaced online, a fan jokingly asked Lateef how he later convinced her to become his wife and requested the โ€œsecretโ€ behind it.

Responding to the question, the actor said there was no special method involved.

According to him, people should marry someone they are close to and comfortable with, adding that friendship plays an important role in relationships.

“There are no past questions, like, they say, marry your friend”, he commented.
