Afrobeats star Davido has opened up about how Babcock University influenced both his personal life and music journey.

The singer made the remarks during a recent visit to the university, where he reflected on his time as a student and the impact the institution had on his success.

According to Davido, earning a degree remains one of his proudest achievements, especially in an entertainment industry where many people do not complete their education.

โ€œBabcock University shaped my career. I always brag to colleagues that I went to school and graduated. Not everyone who started school got to finish,โ€ he said.

Davido graduated from the universityโ€™s music department and has previously shared that his father insisted he attend school before fully pursuing a music career.

The award-winning singer also revealed in the past that he met his wife, Chioma Adeleke, while studying at Babcock University.

Several of Davidoโ€™s hit songs were reportedly recorded and released during his time as a student.
