The Presidency noted that Aina has spent more than 15 years advising federal and state governments on digital transition, institutional reforms and systems development.

It also described him as one of the youngest professors in Computer Engineering in Nigeria, adding that he would become the youngest registrar in JAMBโ€™s history.

The statement further revealed that Aina previously served as a consultant to examination bodies such as the National Examinations Council and the National Business and Technical Examinations Board on ICT systems and examination integrity.

โ€œHe is also a member of professional organisations, including the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and the Institution of Engineering and Technology,โ€ the statement added.

President Bola Tinubu expressed confidence that the incoming registrar would sustain and improve on the achievements recorded during Oloyedeโ€™s administration.

โ€œPresident Tinubu expects Professor Aina to bring to bear his vast experience, knowledge and practical insight into the operations of the Board, to take the critical educational organisation beyond the laudable heights achieved by his predecessor,โ€ the statement added.
