The Rivers State Police Command has refuted claims that the withdrawal of the Police orderly assigned to Justice Augusta Chukwu.
In a press release issued on Monday, the Police Public Relations Officer for the Rivers State Command, Grace Iringe-Koko denied the allegations, stating they are a “false misrepresentation.”
Iringe-Koko explained that the officer in question was one of the personnel deployed for an emergency call to Anambra State to support security operations for the off-cycle gubernatorial election.

This deployment, she clarified, was a routine operational requirement affecting multiple personnel” and was “not exclusive to the judiciary.”
Iringe-Koko stressed that this action was not targeted at any particular judge or the judiciary, which they affirmed are “partners in the administration of criminal justice.”
She confirmed that the officer will immediately return to their duty posts upon their return from the legitimate national assignment.
Iringe-Koko affirmed the police commitment to “safeguarding all members of the judiciary and the entire good people of our dear Rivers State with integrity.”
