Coco Gauff whitewashed Jodie Burrage while Jelena Ostapenko beat Harriet Dart to advance into the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne International.
American Gauff produced an excellent performance to thrash her opponent 6-1 6-1 in exactly an hour.
Britain’s Burrage lost 10 games in a row against the brilliant Gauff, who will face doubles partner Jessica Pegula next.
Burrage made it into the final of the Nottingham Open at the beginning of the grass-court season. She had beaten world number 23 Magda Linette and French veteran Alize Cornet en route the final.

19-year-old Gauff won five games in a row to take the first set. She broke Burrage’s serve early with a beautiful backhand winner, stamping her lead with a 124mph ace.
Speaking on BBC Two, Gauff said: “Jodie has had a couple of good weeks on grass and hopefully she can have a good time at Wimbledon.
“Being in a town like Eastbourne where you can walk reminds me of home. It’s peaceful and I need that before getting into a Grand Slam.”
Meanwhile, Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko defeated another Briton, Harriet Dart 6-3 6-4 in a tight encounter.
Ostapenko, who is the Birmingham Classic champion, fought hard to overcome Dart who has achieved some very good grass-court results.
26-year-old Ostapenko will now face Italy’s Camila Giorgi in the last eight. Giorgi had beaten highly rated African, Tunisia’s Ons Jabeur 6-3 6-2 in the Round of 16.
Reaching the quarter-finals of the Eastbourne International is a big achievement for Gauff who attained a career-high ranking of world number 4 in singles, reached on October 2022.
