President Bola Tinubu has appointed a new management team for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON), pending their confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
According to a statement released by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the new appointments include Gbenga Alade as Managing Director/CEO, Aminu Ismail as Executive Director, Adeshola Lamidi as Executive Director, and Lucky Adaghe as Executive Director.
The President expects the new appointees to demonstrate unflagging dedication, professionalism, and dutifulness in their roles.

He aims to ensure that AMCON’s operations become more efficient, transparent, and aligned with his determination to sanitize the nation’s financial system, thereby maximizing value and enhancing investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.
