However, the only scientific explanation is that it is climate change, and it’s the more reason we need to have those tough sub-conversations on energy transition.The more reason we should do the little we can to help our planet and not keep ruining it some more.We need it, the world needs it, our earth needs it.
How to survive this heat period in Nigeria
Because of the implications of this climate change ( such as dehydration, weakness of the body, slight fever, and dry lips; Heat-Related Illnesses; Respiratory Issues; and Increased Vulnerability to chronic conditions ), Nigerian Meteorological Agency has advised Nigerians to take adequate water, seek shade, use fans, and wear light, breathable clothing to reduce exposure to high temperatures.
Besides, Nigerians are also advised to avoid strenuous physical activity during peak heat hours (Stay indoors as much as possible between 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm evening time).
