Victor Wembanyama delivered a commanding display as the San Antonio Spurs sealed a long-awaited playoff breakthrough. The rising star led his side to a dominant victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
San Antonio controlled the contest from early on, building a massive lead that Portland never recovered from. The 114-95 win secured a 4-1 series triumph, marking their first playoff success in nearly a decade.
Wembanyama finished with 17 points and 14 rebounds, anchoring both ends of the court. Meanwhile, De’Aaron Fox added 21 points as the Spurs showcased impressive team depth.
Coach Mitch Johnson praised the performance, saying: “It was as sharp as we’ve been.”
